    Oh no, not Keratin! I used Kenra, which came out beautiful, straight, and flowing. It was supposed to wash out weeks later. As it grew out, the natural was coily/ kinky, and the treated part stayed straight and tangled. What a mess! Keep in mind my hair was past my shoulders. Fortunately my hair grows fast. So after 6 months of grow and snipping, I couldn't handle the tangled mess and cut the treated part all out! The product is not for our hair! I will warn anyone to please stay clear of this procedure and any product like it!😮

    You're a good stylist. It looks like you are so gentle with her hair. I remember when I tried going natural the first time. This was back when it was less popular... Over a decade ago. The lady who did my hair knew nothing about natural hair. I was in pain as she roughly detangled my hair. My neck hurt as she yanked my hair as I was left to hold my head in place. Once she even put a mild relaxer in it to "make it more manageable". It's so good to see the natural hair world is booming now. I had no knowledge or experience in taking care of my natural hair because I'd been relaxed my whole life. I ended up getting really sick and had to receive one dose of Chemo. All of my hair came out. When It started growing back, I didn't want to put another relaxer in it. I had no idea what I was doing and the stylist was so hush-hush about what she did to my hair when she flat ironed it calling it her "technique." I'm glad teachers/stylists like you exist. Yes, you teach us how to do this at home, but I would be more than willing to go to you to get my hair done if you were in my area.

    • @SimplyTamika
      @SimplyTamika Місяць тому

      Hi Gloria! Thanks for your interest in my products. My products don’t contain stearalkonium chloride. The conditioner does contain steartrimonium chloride. Steartrimonium chloride is a stabilizer that can also be found in skin products, hair conditioners, and other hair care products because of its anti-static properties. It functions as an anti-static and preservative that can modify the pH of the formula.
